    Neil Young’s Dead Man is awesome minimalism.
    Nick Cave’s stuff is great too.
    Trent Reznor’s Social Network and Girl with the Dragon Tattoo are both sublime.
    Thomas Newman is a personal favourite. Wall-E, American Beauty, but also his work for the TV shows Boston Public and Six Feet Under.
    Did you deliberately not mention Star Wars under John Williams, and Blade Runner under Vangelis??

      This list is from 1995 to the present day. Star Wars and Blade Runner were a little earlier than that but certainly would make my greatest of all time.
